Project Manager

Responsibilities

Manage employees in development of embedded electronics software for mobile vehicular diagnostics and prognostics applications. Position will work with Program Manager to direct resources to enable development of new embedded control module to include debugging hardware features such as CAN (Controller Area Network), J1708, RS232, RS422, RS485, and other vehicular and networking interfaces.  Moreover positions will participate in all aspects of electronic development efforts, including the complete requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of features and applications. Experience in electronics design utilizing GPS, wireless communications (802.11, Cellular, satellite), vehicle networks (CAN, J1708, SCI, J1850, etc), networking communications (RS232, RS422, RS485), and sensors (Analog, digital) is required.  Some travel required (<20%).

Qualifications

BSCE/BSEE required.  Extensive experience with both commercial automotive and military design considerations is a firm requirement. Excellent oral and written communications is a requirement.  Experience with vehicle diagnostic networks, wireless communications and GPS required. 8-10 years of software development and/or electrical engineering experience required. Ability to work cooperatively with others and to work under pressure of deadlines and customer requirements required.  Ability to travel by air and/or motor vehicle as needed required.
