Associate Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop embedded applications for mobile vehicular diagnostics and prognostics software applications.  Position includes software development for new embedded control module to include debugging hardware features such as CAN (Controller Area Network), J1708, RS232, RS422, RS485, and other vehicular and networking interfaces.  Support software development efforts such as complete requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of operations tools and applications. Contribute to writing requirements and the development of concepts of operations. 

Qualifications

BSCS required.  Embedding operating systems experience with KADAK a firm requirement.  AMX Real Time OS, AMX File System and KwikNet required.  Experience with vehicle diagnostic networks, wireless communications and GPS strongly preferred. 1-2 years of embedded operating system experience required. Ability to work cooperatively with others and to work under pressure of deadlines and customer requirements required.  Ability to travel by air and/or motor vehicle as needed required.
